 Saarland University and the University of Alicante hosted the first two presential modules in Germany and Spain last week.Twenty-five deans and vicedeans of Central and Latin American Higher Education Institutions attended those 5-day modules to develop and improve their competence in Quality Management, Research Management, Human Resources Management, Internationalisation, University-Industry Cooperation and Strategic Planning. 

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the German Rectors’ Conference (HRK) and the Universities of Alicante (Spain) and Saarland (Germany) jointly organised this new edition of the DIES-International Deans’ Course for Latin America that has just been started today, Monday, 25th September 2017.

Module 3 of the IDC Latin-American is taking place along this week of April in the impressive city of La Havana, Cuba.From 24th to 28 th, April 2017, the deans are participating in several conferences to cover Media Strategy, Networking and Communication, Leadership, Diversity Management.We wish the attendees not only to take advantage of the expertise of speakers, but also that the learning process is both pleasurable for them personally and beneficial for their home institutions.
